It's not a missionary vision, rather the awareness that the way we live, our lives have a bunch of negative consequences. They are far from being perfect, and we all do hedonistic stuff we love. Nevertheless, they believe, if everybody works for a little change, the effect might be huge. In their perception, "ben" is an attitude, a characteristic, and a lifestyle altogether. That's why they called themselves hello ben, a little reminder to be nice to others and add a bit of consciousness.
They care for environmental-friendly materials, resource-conserving fabrics, and their production, such as Lenzig's Tencel, Linen, and Organic Cotton. They also go in for top workmanship and value those heroes who make their clothes.
