A ribbed beanie in baby alpaca and organic cotton — warm without the itch, and slim enough to sit under a hood or a good coat collar. Grège chiné falls between greige and sand: the neutral that goes with the whole wardrobe and never announces itself.

The yarn — 56% FS baby alpaca, 44% organic Pima cotton — is made in Peru, and the beanie is knitted in Portugal in a GOTS-certified workshop. Les Racines du Ciel has been knitting from Quimper in Brittany since 2005, named after Romain Gary's novel — respect for people, animals and nature before anything else.
